Shropshire and Herefordshire law firm Lanyon Bowdler is delighted to announce that trainee Jennifer Farmer has qualified as an assistant solicitor, supporting the firms employment and commercial & agricultural teams.
Jennifer joined Lanyon Bowdler in January 2013 and during her training has built relationships with clients of both the commercial property and employment teams. Jennifer will continue to support those clients as an assistant solicitor, with a particular focus on assisting clients with transactions requiring input in both areas, ensuring joined up thinking and cost effectiveness are provided to clients.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2009 with a 2:1 in law, and completed the LPC at the College of Law in Chester. Outside of work, Jennifer is a qualified Brownie leader and also helps run her local youth club. She also enjoys being active and in 2012 completed the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Jennifer said: “I am delighted to have qualified and I am really looking forward to becoming a fully-fledged member of the team. It has been a great experience working at Lanyon Bowdler - the support I have received has been fantastic.”
Praveen Chaudhari, partner in property, added: “We are delighted to retain Jennifer in the commercial & agricultural department. She will continue to be a great asset to the team”.
Head of Lanyon Bowdler’s employment department, John Merry, said: “I am pleased to have Jennifer’s continuing support, and indeed the greater assistance that she can now provide following qualification, including in advising employees in relation to settlement agreements.”
