Scarborough has a team of 12 members making up a back up response team (BURT) with full cliff rescue facilities. It is home to both the local team and the sector office.\r\rThe sector office is situated on Sandside in a building known as the Tollhouse.\r\rThe rescue team work from a separate building located in the old town at Paradise. This is where the vehicle and equipment is kept and where the team meet for call outs to incidents and for training.\r\r
