Christmas is approaching, fast, which means a few things for you lovely people! Firstly, it means your excitement levels are rising and you are already stressing about the big day. Second, it means that you have to start Christmas shopping and finally, it means that Christmas songs are back on the menu!
We always look to the young for new and exciting ideas that will freshen up our culture and way of life. They are the shining hope that will clean up the mistakes made by the current generation, whether that be politics, sports or art – The next generation will also look to bring something great to the table.

Another week and yet another stunning rumored signing for Dr Marwan Koukash and his Salford Red Devils. This time it's Wigan Warriors and Samoan forward Harrison Hansen, the son of 90's cult Salford, and New Zealand forward Shane “Shakers” Hansen.
In recent times, Salford University has undergone a makeover – developing their facilities as well as opening up a state of the art campus at MediaCityUK, right next to the likes of BBC and ITV. It is no doubt a great place to study but is Salford suited to student living?

So that's it, the greatest tournament of all has come to an end. It was a glorious Saturday night when the penultimate match of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup came to an end. Surprisingly, it wasn't the battle of attrition the world was expecting as The Kangaroos, superbly led by Melbourne Storm Legends Cameron Smith and Billy Slater, trounced their deadly rivals and current World Cup holders New Zealand 34–2 in front of a sold out Old Trafford Stadium.

What a difference twelve months has made in the fortunes of Salford Rugby League Football Club, or as we are now rightly known Salford Red Devils.
Christmas is a time for joy, a wonderful tradition that is enjoyed by everyone in the family – even those grumpy members secretly look forward to Christmas! But sometimes families are unable to enjoy this time of the year, and go hungry.
A few weeks back, I wrote a blog about the demolition of Salford’s iconic blue cranes that have populated our skyline for years. It was a sad and somber occasion as an important part of Salford’s history was about to be destroyed. They are now gone, but not forgotten.
I know it is November and you might be getting ever so slightly fed up of people going on about Christmas as if it were mid December, but just hear me out. The event I want to tell you about is so wonderful and magical that I want to give you plenty of notice to clear your whole schedule!
