Village Physio® runs FREE weekly group physiotherapy sessions for women aged 45+ at the United Multicultural Centre in Rotherham Town Centre.

Led by a Chartered Physiotherapist, these friendly community physiotherapy sessions are designed to help women stay stronger, steadier, mobile and confident with everyday movement.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Sessions include gentle, mainly chair-based physiotherapy exercises focusing on:

✓ Strength and mobility
✓ Balance and falls prevention
✓ Flexibility and everyday movement
✓ Walking and movement confidence
✓ Maintaining mobility and independence
✓ Staying active as you get older

You don't need to be fit or exercise regularly to take part. Exercises can be adapted for different abilities, health conditions and injuries, allowing you to participate at an appropriate level with professional physiotherapy guidance.

WHO ARE THE SESSIONS FOR?

These free Rotherham physiotherapy and exercise sessions are for women aged 45+.

They may be particularly helpful if you:

• Want to improve your strength, balance or mobility
• Want to reduce your risk of falls
• Experience stiffness or reduced mobility
• Are returning to activity following illness or injury
• Have become less active and want to start moving again

No previous exercise experience is required.
