Dear Lisa,
I write on behalf of the Mayor and Mayoress and all at the Town Council to thank you and all the staff at The Riverside, especially Aimee, for their part in ensuring that this year's Remembrance Day commemorations were such a great success again. It was an incredible turnout as always, with estimates suggesting around 800-900 people in attendance. I know that a great many of them crossed the road to The Riverside for refreshments and the staff managed them brilliantly. I appreciate how difficult and stressful it can be to manage an influx of that number of people and I'd be grateful if you could pass on our sincere thanks for helping to make the morning that bit extra special. Hi Lisa,
The evening was perfect with the exception that my brother was too ill to attend. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff there at the Riverside and Lords Caterers for the lovely food. We are now going to have a couple of weeks break but intend to be speaking with you soon regarding next year’s date.
