In Rochdale you'll find plenty of people whose jobs revolve around numbers and Rochdale is known to have great accountants, which is great for all those people who live near, in or around Rochdale that are anything like me. I can't make much sense of numbers. Being a creative and free spirit I find mathematics a battle with two many restrictions. Don't get me wrong I love, being organised and on time (mostly early) andI do understand that without maths and science we'd never have all the amazing technology that we have today. BUT it's not everybody's cup of tea.

Luckily for people not suited for extensive mathematical voyages, we don't have to worry about knowing everything. Like all things in nature, people all have different roles based on the talents they were born with or the dreams they develop. If we were all alike then development would be very limited and unhealthy; just think of it as your body with only one part that grows, like an arm or your head. In either case the system would collapse and probably damage itself to the point of utter destruction.

I apologise for overusing my imaginative imagery. My point is for a society to fuinction we must all play our part no matter how big or small it is, it's important! Rochdale would never have become what it is today without its people and what they bring to it.
