Gorgeous Weather this Easter

I hope it is nice weather this Easter. I love it when it's cold but the sun is shining. We will take the dog up to the top of Woodhouse Lane and walk around Greenbooth Reservoirs. The views when looking back over Rochdale from the top of the lane are amazing. It always amazes me how green Rochdale is. We live in a beautiful part of the world. I love the peace up at the reservoir and the water, it changes every time I look at it. Gary has so many pictures of the water and the 'colours' of the hills, I wonder if he will make a collage!. I love the pine trees that are like a forest on one side (except when the dog is pulling me down the hill into them). they are so close together their is no light. I wonder what animals are in there. There is a magical little bridge on the other side of the water, its slightly treacherous walking down towards it, especially in the mud but its worth the effort. We sometimes walk past the derelict factory up there and come out on Edenfield Road but usually come back over the fields and back down the lane. Last time I was up there it was snowing and the local kids ( and Dads) were sledging down the steep slope. We used to come up here as kids with an old wooden sledge. I spent more time off it than on. All part of the fun! It's a good 2 hour walk so the Easter Eggs will be enjoyed even more when we get home.
