The official venues for Rochdale's Feel Good Festival were recently announced.

A total of six indoor venues will be hosting a range of live music performance during the festival, which is a celebration of entertainment, good food and local culture.

The Flying Horse Hotel (Town Hall Square), Touchstones Arts and Heritage Centre (The Esplanade) and Bar 5 (South Parade) will all welcome local talent to the stage during the festival.

The Litten Tree on Fleece Street will be the venue for a BBC Introducing in Manchester stage, whilst the East Bar and Club in South Parade will host the Feel Good Festival's Battle of the Bands competition on Thursday 14th July. The winner of the competition will be invited to open the main stage.

If you fancy something a little more relaxing for your festival experience, Rochdale Town Hall will be welcoming Jonathan Scott, one of the country's best young organists.

In addition to a packed programme of live music in the six indoor venues, the free Feel Good Festival will have a main stage sponsored by The Flying Horse Hotel and a two day festival market. Headlining the celebrations on Saturday will be The Fun Lovin' Criminals, along with Badly Drawn Boy and Frankie & The Heartstrings.
