Do you need a boost

January is traditionally the month of fresh starts and resolutions to become different, often failing miserably as we expect quick results or set too high a target, so by February it is common to feel pretty depressed at the progress made.

I have recently been preparing talks to the Bury and Bolton Business Network and Network North West on Looking Good for Business, particularly the difference that it can make to self confidence when meeting new people when you can smile easily and readily without trying to hide your teeth.

My research however has highlighted that more important even than a good smile is a healthy body that can cope with all the stresses that life throws at us, especially at this time of year when there are so many bugs around and little sunshine.

A major way of counteracting this is by having good nutrition that supplies plenty of anti-oxidants that help repair the cellular damage caused when stresses such as pollution, processed foods, alcohol, tobacco and ultraviolet light disturb the balance in our cells.

We all know that we need to boost our fruit and vegetable intake in order to produce the necessary antioxidants but it's easier said than done when we all have such busy lives.

About a year ago I was introduced to Juice Plus+ on a dental laser course in London because of the studies showing how it helps gums to heal and the mouth to become healthier. I have since discovered that there are over 30 properly researched double-blind randomised clinical studies done at prestigious universities all around the world which show that Juice Plus+ capsules have been scientifically proven to improve health internally and externally by reducing cell damage, stimulating the immune system and DNA repair as well as helping skin, nails and hair. It stimulates the liver to detoxify the body and so weight loss is common, especially around the waist which is prone to bloating.

The Juice Plus+ shakes can be used for an energy boost before a work-out and for repair afterwards and are recommended by many personal trainers.

To aid natural weight loss it can be used as a meal replacement.

Juice Plus+ is a healthy nutritional supplement that provided the vitamins and micronutrients from the whole fruit without needing to take synthetic vitamins that can just pass straight through the body.

My husband and I have been taking it and have really noticed the difference in our health and energy levels and I feel confident to recommend it to anyone to help them get healthier.

There are so many athletes taking it including Olympic and Paralympic medallists and Bear Grylls.

Other Best of Rochdale businesses have learnt about the benefits and are also promoting it to their clients, such as Tomlinson Osteopaths and Spring bank Kennels. We would be happy to give more information and copies of the research to anyone who would like to make 2014 their year of getting healthier. 01706 893429. Pam Coates
