When I was a kid my Dad nicknamed me ‘GG’. Not only because I liked horses but because he thought I was a Garbage Guts, I ate everything! As a result of both parents working multiple jobs I started cooking for my family at a young age. It is from here that I discovered my passion and although I never wanted to find out if I could stand the heat in a professional kitchen it hasn’t quenched my thirst for all things food and drink related.
Instead of working the kitchens, I worked my way around the world working front of house and managing bars and restaurants.I have eaten many strange and wonderful things on my journeys around the world and still have yet more to discover, I think I could be a gourmet Christopher Colombus!
I write reviews of restaurants, bars, pubs et al as well as my writing my own recipes. Hope you enjoy!
