  • Friday 25th September 10:00am until 2:00pm
A care home in New Malden is inviting people to come together over coffee and cake while raising money for a worthy cause.

Care UK's Little Brook House, on Nelson Road, will host a Macmillan coffee morning on Friday 25th September from 10.30am.

Members of the community can enjoy a relaxed morning while fundraising, with activities to get involved in such as traditional games and painting.

There will also be a selection of homemade treats prepared by the home's head chef, including Macmillan-inspired green cupcakes. Residents and team members will be wearing green throughout the day to show their support for the cancer charity.

Hannah Rowsell, Activities Coordinator at Little Brook House, said: “We are proud to be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning and supporting such an important cause.

“Events like this are a lovely way to bring people together, create new connections and strengthen links within the local community. We're also excited to welcome guests to our café, which is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, a slice of cake and great company.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone for a morning of fundraising and fun.”

Little Brook House provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. The home has been designed to enable residents to lead active and fulfilling lives, while also promoting independence.
