Barnes Sports Club annual Big Bonfire and Fireworks evening

Guy Fawkes will give everyone the chance of a fun family night out, and on Saturday November 6th Barnes will go off with a bang and the skies will rain colour when the Sports Club holds its annual Big Bonfire and Fireworks evening on its cricket ground on Lonsdale Road (www.barnessportsclub.org).
For children under 13 there is another Make-a-Guy competition. The creator of this year's Best Guy can help light the Big Bonfire as well as receiving a voucher donated again by Les Petits. Guys assemble in the street-front clubhouse at around 6:30pm where the Masked Judge will choose the winner at 6:55pm before leading all the entrants in a torch-lit procession to the Bonfire, which will be lit just after 7:00pm.
Then boys from St Paul's School will provide some jazz before the firework display starts at 7:55pm. There are stalls with hamburgers and hotdogs and other food and drink goodies including mulled wine, plus sparklers and light sticks and more fun frippery both glittery and ghoulish.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children and Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are £20. Under 5's are free. You could save yourself some queuing by buying your tickets in advance from Seals, Two Peas in a Pod, Focalpoint, Les Petits, Charles Banks Ray, Giuliano, The Tree House as well as the Sports Club's clubhouse after October 22nd. Barnes Montessori Nursery parents can buy directly from the School.
