Watch out for fake Christmas card emails!

It is the time of year for people to start sending you email greetings but please be wary. I just had fake Hallmark Greeting card delivered and although I spotted it right away, people might be tricked into opening the attachment.

Legitimate greeting card services do not send attachments, they link back to a web page for the greeting, so if you get anything with a .zip or .exe file attached it is almost certainly a fake that will attempt to infect your computer should you open it.

Please take extra care at this time of year as the uncharitable members of our society try to take advantage of us yet again.
