There are under 10 days to go until the deadline for local people who want to celebrate the Royal Wedding with a street party to register with the Council.
A new simpler registration form was launched earlier this year to make it less bureaucratic for residents to plan and hold a party. Royal watchers are now being reminded to make sure they have completed one and sent it back in good time.
Almost 30 street party registrations have already been received, more than other boroughs in South London.
The Council wants to make sure no-one who wants to hold party misses out because they have left it too late. The authority needs to receive all applications by that date to make sure every one received can be processed in plenty of time for the big day.
The new application forms are available by calling the Council on 08456 122660 or they can be downloaded from http://www.richmond.gov.uk/street_parties
