What do Treacle Tart, Tank Tops and Table Tennis all have in common? With your imagination they could all raise much needed funds to help transform the lives of young people with cancer.

Time for T is Teenage Cancer Trust’s national campaign to raise money to help transform the lives of young people with cancer. On Thursday 24 May we’re asking everyone in the borough of Richmond upon Thames to get together with their friends, family or work colleagues and organise a fundraising event themed with the letter ‘T’. From Tea parties to Table Tennis Tournaments, there’s something for everyone. So get involved today, have some fun and raise a ton for the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.

You can get your free fundraising pack by visiting: www.teenagecancertrust.org/timefort

Packed with ideas as well as stickers, banners and posters, the packs have everything you’ll need to get your fundraising started! It even includes a Great British Menu award winning Treacle Tart recipe from Michelin-Starred chef Shaun Rankin so you can bake Tantalising Treats for you and your friends.

thebestofrichmond, in association with The Best Of, the ultimate guide to the best of everything local, are a national partner for Time for T.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.

Traditionally treated alongside children or elderly patients at the end of their lives, young people can feel extremely isolated during treatment, some never meeting another young person with cancer.

Being treated alongside others their own age can make a huge difference to their whole experience. So Teenage Cancer Trust builds specialist units within NHS hospitals bringing young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. We want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter where they live.
