Richmond Card Now Available to Rugby Fans and Tourists
2nd August 2015
... Comments

The Richmond Card is operated by Richmond Council and can now be downloaded by visiting fans and tourists during the Rugby World Cup.

Any business that pays business rates to Richmond Council can put an offer on the card and they will be promoted on the council website for free. An example of an offer is 2 for 1 on After Tea at the Richmond Hill Hotel over August.

Over 50,000 people now have the card and this is likely to jump higher during the world cup period of 6 weeks as many of the hotels in Richmond Hill are now filling up.

As a business you can put an offer on the Richmond Card by emailing andrew.bell@richmond.gov.uk

Update on Richmond Card and Community Toilet Scheme

  • The Richmond Card itself can’t be downloaded – just the Visitor Richmond Card which doesn’t have all the benefits of the full card.  This can be accessed here: www.richmond.gov.uk/apply_for_a_visitor_richmondcard
  • Not all businesses that pay rates can take part in the Richmond Card scheme.  The scheme is designed to support local, independent businesses only.
  • There are over 80,000 card holders.
  • Businesses can participate by going to the offers scheme web page – this is where they should be directed www.richmond.gov.uk/offers
