Details of local Farmers Markets in and around the London Borough of Richmond - support your local produce suppliers as part of thebestof Richmond's Buy Local campaign

As I wrote about last week, thebestof Richmond are holding a survey to discover our shopping habits, and just how many of us Buy Local.

As part of the Buy Local campaign, I wanted to remind you of the locations and times of Farmer's Markets in the area in and surrounding Richmond Upon Thames.

It's obvious that buying straight from local farmers and suppliers means fresher food, a boost to the local economy, and some real treats.

Richmond Farmer's Market
Heron Square, by Richmond Bridge
Every Saturday 11am - 3pm

Twickenham Farmer's Market
Holly Road Car Park
Every Saturday 9am - 1pm

Barnes Farmer's Market
Essex House, Station Road
Every Saturday 12pm - 4pm

Barnes Country Market
Rose House, High Street
Every Friday 10am - 12pm

East Sheen Farmers Market
Sheen Lane Health Centre Car Park
10.30am - 2pm

Now, for convenience I usually just go to the local market to me in Richmond, but I'm going to pay a visit to the other farmers markets in the area just to see what other delights are on offer.

As one of our children often says: nom nom nom...
