Glass is a Blast

A friend of mine has just spent a considerable amount of time and money redesigning the interior of her house in Richmond.

The need for more space prompted a loft conversion, which left the remainder of the house feeling very left out and wanting a face lift as well.

So the last few months have seen dust, builders, electricians, decorators and designers in a whirlwind of productivity - and the end result is stunning.

No Changing Rooms quick fix, this was a project of near epic proportions (for their family at least), and was utterly and totally worth it for the quality of finish they got.

It's all in the detail, and although they didn't scrimp on the costs, they also didn't go overboard either, carefully selecting their suppliers and fixtures for the best value and quality combined.

One thing that sets off the new family bathroom is the glass work they commissioned from local glass designer Susie Carson. Specialising in sandblasted glass, Susie's designs are contemporary and beautiful. Experienced on working on bespoke projects, Susie Carson's interior glass-work is incredibly versatile in its uses, from shower screens to windows, even furniture and glass walls.

I'd heartily recommend anyone consider bespoke sandblasted glass designs by Susie - she is by all accounts a pleasure to work with, and expert at understanding her clients' needs and wants.
