Full of Life Fair 2011

It has been confirmed that Richmond’s annual celebration event for over 50s will be held at the Harlequins Rugby Grounds in Twickenham on Thursday, 6 October 2011.

The Full of Life Fair is a celebration of the huge contribution Richmond’s over 50s make to society.

The event brings together a range of local voluntary organisations and more, to provide residents with information about the services they, or their parents or loved ones, can access through the Council and its partners.

Aside from general information, there will also be a focus on local arts and cultural events, health, volunteering options, career ideas and much more.

In addition, this year, the Full of Life Fair is joining forces with the Housing Options Fair, which in the past has been held in the same week.

To make it easier for residents to get to the event, Richmond Council will provide a free shuttle service to and from the venue from Twickenham Rail Station. Extra transport will be provided from certain points around the borough which is subject to demand and will be confirmed closer to the time.

If you are a local community group or voluntary organisation and would like to take part in the Full of Life Fair, please contact Abigail Cochrane on 020 8487 5049.
