Many people mistake ‘Going Green’ for more cost and promises of ‘longer term savings’.

With environmental protection issues foremost in our minds, a one or two person, one car taxi journey to Gatwick or a drive and Short or Long Term Stay parking isn’t a great choice.

Isleworth minicab company, Parker Car Service, have announced their latest ‘Go Green to Gatwick’ option – and it doesn’t mean motors powered by recycled cooking oil, electric or more cost.

For a great ‘Go Green’ getaway, you can share the journey with another traveller...and it costs just £29.50. You can even be collected on your return, the driver texts when you land, gives his name and location and car model.

“There are so many one person, one car drivers,” General Manager of Parkers, Dave Weston, commented. “This is an ideal way for our fuel-reliant company to help cut CO2 emissions, whilst saving our clients’ funds.”

Sounds a great way to cut an often forgotten extra travel cost.

“The success of the launch has been fantastic,” added Dave. “We can offer this to two couples travelling together or one person and one or two others and everyone wins.”

Parkers are continuing to run the scheme throughout the off-peak travel season.
