Fantastic club well managed, have won national awards. The staff and members are friendly and welcoming to all. They offer very low cost beginner golf coaching courses that make it easy for anyone to start and eventually become a member. Great practice facilities and short course makes it easy for anyone short of time to still play as only takes a couple of hours. Five stars.
Normally playing my golf on the open fairways at Royal Mid Surrey, it is a delightful challenge to be invited to play on the tight but picturesque 9 holes at Strawberry Hill G.C., tucked away where you don’t expect to find a golf course. For the medium handicapper the long par threes and narrow fairways put one’s accuracy and course management to a severe test but you don’t forget the reward of a welcome drink and good company in the friendly Clubhouse when it is over.
Nice course, friendly bar staff, well maintained, locals friendly and nice location.
Excellent staff in the Pro shop. Welcoming members around the course. Lovely course .. well kept.......
A very friendly club where you are made to feel most welcome. A pretty course which requires accuracy.
Nice Clubhouse, reasonably priced, well maintained and friendly. Great experience!
I always enjoy playing at Strawberry Hill. It's a surprisingly tricky and challenging course despite being only 9 holes where you need to be accurate off the tee, and your short game needs to be on top form to score well. The members are an incredibly friendly bunch who welcome visitors with open arms, so if you want a fun round with friends or a relaxed corporate day with none of the stuffiness of some other clubs in the area, then this is the place. Recent changes to the course and the clubhouse will only improve the experience, and Peter Buchan is always keen to give you a good deal in the pro shop. Alison (4 h'cap, Royal Dornoch)
