The food at the Delhi Orchid is consistently good - really delicious flavours and no 'heavy' feeling afterwards. The service is warm and friendly and as for those chocolate samosas, they're a real treat! I'd definitely recommend trying out the Delhi Orchid if you haven't yet, without doubt one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
We had a fabulous time at the Delhi Orchid and will certainly be returning again soon. In my opinion it has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area and one you should definitely be putting on your list for a visit in the near future. For a truly authentic taste of India forget your run-of-the-mill curry house, this place is the real deal.

Delhi Orchid serve the best curry in Richmond. High quality and excellent service.
I love Indian food, but often don't like the 'full' feeling afterwards. That's not the case with the food here. Each dish is beautifully presented, and exquisite with flavour. I highly recommend the Malai Jhinga as a starter - marinated succulent tandoori prawns. The curry's are light and tasty. But the 'piece de resistance' are the chocolate samosas - seriously good - chocoholic and curry loving boyfriend very happy! My favourite Indian restaurant in town is the Cinnamon Kitchen in Westminster, and this restaurant is easily on a par with the quality of its food.
