Rily's Redditch has been named 'Best Curry House in the Midlands'
Rilys in The Quadrant was one of 10 restaurants to receive awards at a star-studded presentation dinner at London’s Battersea Evolution.
The British Curry Awards, now in their seventh year, are recognised as the industry’s ‘Oscars’ and more than 1,500 restaurateurs, VIP guests and celebrities were in the audience to see the results announced by celebrity chef James Martin, host of BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen.
Guests included London Mayor Boris Johnson, Employment Minister Chris Grayling and Conservative Party co-Chairman Baroness Warsi.
More than 2,700 restaurants from across the UK had been nominated for this year’s awards, described by Prime Minister David Cameron as “uplifting and inspiring” in a video message recorded specially for the event.
