The Astwood Bank Carnival is fast approaching. Below is a list of the events up to the much celebrated carnival day on 9th July.
Open Gardens - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June. A range of gardens open around the village.
Curry Collaboration - Wednesday 22nd June 6.30pm - 8pm. Celebrating Little India's 5th Anniversary. All the proceeds from food sales that evening go in to the Astwood Bank Carnival's fund raising pot. Book early at Little India.
Pub Crawl - Friday 1st July 7pm onwards. The Carnival Committee will tour the pubs of Astwood Bank and surrounding villages to sell raffle tickets and official carnival programmes.
Event Night - Friday 8th July 7.30pm onwards. Event to be arranged. Previous events included casino and horse racing nights.
Carnival Day - Saturday 9th July 12pm onwards. A fun packed day for all the family with the procession leaving SE Davis at 12pm followed by the field activites taking place on the Carnival field at SE Davies from 2pm.
