At the heart of the community is Redditch United Football Club. Redditch United has been established for many years and is one of the oldest clubs in the Midlands. There are a wide range of teams playing in various local leagues including the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League, the Midland Junior Premier League and the Midweek Floodlit Youth League.
RUSS, 'Redditch United Soccer School' has been set up as part of the Club's ongoing Youth Development policy since the Club's Youth and Junior section achieved the coveted F.A. Charter Standard Community Status, the pinnacle of the F.A's Charter Standard award scheme. The main difference between RUSS and other soccer schools is that they don't just 'play games' day in, day out, they actually work to a syllabus developing skills, educating in diet and nutrition and hopefully encouraging lifelong participation for health and fitness.
Redditch United has a large spacious function room available for any occasion, whether that may be for Birthdays, Christenings, Engagements, Funerals, Weddings, Corporate or Charity events. The room has a dance floor, stage, licensed bar and can accommodate and seat a maximum of 120 people. The function room is available for you to choose to have your own catering or you could take advantage of the hospitality and let Redditch United cater for you - details are available on request.
