Was impressed with the reception team and the modern and bright decor. Reception is on the 1st floor, 2 lifts were sensitive to how many people could get in! One broke down over night. Rooms good quality, but not too keen on the hard pillows. Unfortunately for us, the toilet didn't flush, we ended up using the toilets 1 floor below in reception area. We did report the issue, staff manager was apologetic. Breakfast was of high standard, staff friendly and professional. We would recommend this branch of Holiday Inn

We were checked in by Laura, she was extremely friendly, warm and reassured us if we need anything to let her know.
We were thanked also for being an IHG Gold elite member and made us feel welcome.
Our room 513 was modern and well equipped, a bit on the small side but was perfect for our one night stay to catch our train in the morning.
The beds were the comfiest beds we have slept in! Great nights sleep.
All in all, do not judge how this hotel looks on the outside, it is great and we will definitely be returning next time we are in Preston!

A family trip to celebrate graduation - staff made us feel very welcome, breakfast team Tess & co were great and in addition to buffet it was nice to be able to order porridge and pancakes. Rooms were spotless thanks Monika and well appointed and location very central. Yes the facade is dated but ticked every box so thanks for a great stay

Five awarded for this hotel. We had an overnight stay on the way back from the Scottish Highlands. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Very clean and well presented. I also loved the design of the bar and restaurant area with bright colourful furniture.
We had a set evening meal as there was over 30 of us. It was varied with a good choice. Breakfast the next day was buffet style with an excellent and well cooked choice of cooked full English, cereal, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, pastries, large yummy croissant and hot and cold beverages.
I would recommend eating here.

Super comfy beds, very clean room, plenty of tea, coffee etc, excellent TV reception. Wonderful breakfast and evening meal and great staff. My friend and I were very impressed. The staff all went the extra mile. Even the corridors and lifts were well maintained. Thanks

I was in the Preston area, and selected the Holiday Inn at Preston, as i have stayed before and found it to be one of the best within the Town. Its around a 15 min walk from the station of 5 mins in a Uber can vary between £4 - £ 6 depending on the time of day. Checkin was so quick the staff are always freindly, this time i was on the 5th Floor, the room are all double glazed so they are nice and quiet, the air con was perfect provided nice cool are which is nice. They have a good menu for eveing meals, in the resturant on the 1st floor which is where breakfast is served fro 06:30, as i had a busy day i opted for room service which was served within 15 mins. My sleep was perfect , the bed was comfortable, and no outside noise and good blackout curtains. Breakfast was good, a nice selection of cooked and cold items all fresh, which is a buffet service. As usual a good stay and will be back next time i need to stay in the Preston area

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel,rooms are kept fantastically clean, bathrooms always gleaming. big thank you to the staff, we had nice chats about this n that.bar area is also spacious to relax..never really done holidays in UK and this hotel and staff put some foreign places to shame.

Great staff, really welcoming and helpful . Clean, large, comfortable rooms. Good choice at breakfast. Good location walkable to town. honestly, the staff were great.
The hotel.was full when we were there but it was quiet at night and never felt too busy in tne bar or breakfast.

Stayed on business for one night, this is a clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was fine with quite a few choices.
There is very limited parking but bud station across the road has plenty of space. Didn’t walk into the centre of Preston but got a taxi which was very easy.
