WiFi Wars at Guild Hall Preston
  • Lancaster Rd, Preston
    PR1 1HT
  • Saturday 28th February 7:00pm until 11:59pm
Step into WiFi Wars at Preston Guild Hall, a live interactive comedy game show where the audience plays along using their phones and tablets. Packed with laughs, live games and chaotic fun, it’s a unique night out perfect for families, friends and anyone who loves interactive entertainment.

From classic TV game shows to zen-like word puzzles, from retro video games to modern first person shooters, WiFi Wars has something for everyone in its truly original whistlestop tour of all the ways you can have fun, in public.

The entire audience competes, both as teams and as individuals, on games, quizzes and more that are magically beamed into their smartphones and tablets using WiFi Wars' Guinness World Record-Breaking tech, developed in residency at London's prestigious Royal Institution.

Hosted by comedian Steve McNeil (team captain on the hit TV show "Dara O'Briain's Go 8 Bit"), WiFi Wars is the Award-Winning must-see show that's like nothing you've seen before. As teams and players thrive and fail, each show's unique narrative emerges hilariously in real time, with freshly-minted heroes becoming local legends in every place they visit.

Ensure you bring a smart device (phone/tablet) for each player - essentially you just need something with a touch-screen and a web-browser installed.

Also, make sure it's got some battery charge in it as you'll use it to play along with the entire show, but don't worry - it doesn't hugely drain your battery.

And you don't need to download an app or install anything in advance, we'll get you all set up when you arrive.

The show has been in demand across the globe for the last decade, from Japan to Stockholm, from the USA to Romania. On a never-ending UK tour now since early 2023, you might also have spotted them at big festivals like Latitude, Reading/Leeds and Glastonbury.

With appearances at respected institutions such as New Scientist, TED and BAFTA Games, and with even companies like Sony, Spotify and Sega using them for their own events, it's time to come along yourself and find out why this is the show that EVERYONE is talking about.
