Have you paid a visit to Huntley's Farm Shop in Samlesbury recently?  Well if you haven't you should... there is lots to do there - much more than you would expect plus they have got a calendar full of exciting events throughout the year.

As well as the Farm Shop, which has a full butchers section, there is an ice cream factory, fruit and veg shop, blacksmiths forge, antiques shop, fishmongers, art gallery, furniture store and a restaurant!  You can definately make a day of it.

The restaurant is holding a curry night on the 11 June - with three curries to choose from plus popadoms, naan bread and tandoori potatoes... it promises to be a feast!

Then in July Shakespeare's The Tempest is being performed in the Courtyard on Friday 16 July from 7pm (come rain or shine!).

Throughout the summer there will be themed nights in the restaurant - French and Italian, wine tasting events and a Casino Royal Night Charity Fundraiser which will be a chance to get glammed up, have fun and raise some money for Derian House.

I don't know about you but I think I will be heading to Huntley's over the summer!
