The change in the weather will probably prompt many people outdoors. There are lots of great walks within a short distance of Preston (and within its boundaries, of course).
Here's one we love: it's called the Tolkien Trail and has an ideal mix of stunning views, historical buildings, wildlife and a good pub at the end.
