Many of you who have visited the Rhondda Heritage park remember the Mine simulator at the end of their Mine tours . Now as part of a £500,000 investment, this New year the Rhondda Heritage Park will be getting a new upgraded simulator, replacing the old decommissioned 'Miner's Ride Lift'.
The ride will extend the Trehafod site's existing tour experience, and will transport people through underground tunnels at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery - with the activity enhanced with interactive technology.
It's hoped that the new upgraded simulator will be open to member of the public during the first months of 2017. So look out for the new simulator at the end of their tours!
