Explore a powerful exhibition that brings together historic and contemporary works from the Government Art Collection, one of the world's largest and most widely dispersed collections of British art. Spanning more than 300 years, Echoes of Us is organised around the themes of ‘Belonging’, ‘Memory’ and ‘Connection’ and features works by internationally renowned artists including Barbara Hepworth, Cornelia Parker and Chris Ofili alongside contemporary voices such as Phoebe Boswell, Alvaro Barrington and Alberta Whittle. Developed in collaboration with young people from Plymouth, the exhibition offers fresh perspectives on identity, place and human connection.
