Join us at our Spring Meeting to hear about the BDS's exciting recording projects for 2018! In addition, you will have the chance to learn about Dragonfly and wetland conservation, and research, from a range of speakers, as well as the opportunity to discuss Dragonfly recording with our experts.

10:30 – State of Nature 2020 (Pam Taylor, Dragonfly Conservation Group Convenor)


10.50 – Clubtail Count 2018 (Genevieve Dalley, BDS Conservation Officer)

11:20 – White-faced Darters in England and Scotland (Matthew Geary, Lecturer and Conservation Ecologist at The University of Chester)


11.50 – Dragonfly Challenge, for non-CDRs,  (Eleanor Colver, Conservation Officer) and the start of the County Dragonfly Recorder Forum (1 hour, hosted by David Hepper, BDS Records Officer)


12:20 – Lunch Break (starts at 12:50 for CDRs)


13:50 – Southern Damselflies in Dorset (Chris Dieck, RSPB Ecologist) 


14:20 – Norfolk Ponds Project  (Carl Sayer, Norfolk Ponds Project Leader)
