The magnificent Carew Castle has a history spanning 2,000 years. Set in a stunning location, overlooking a 23-acre millpond, the castle displays the development from a Norman fortification to an Elizabethan country house. There's plenty to see and do with an exciting summer-long activity programme.

Important Notice - Carew Castle and Tidal Mill is now CLOSED until Easter 2013.

There are exciting renovations underway, including a new roof, doors and windows in the Lesser Hall, as well as a new visitor centre and toilet facilities in the Walled Garden to replace current facilities . There will also be works to the existing car park space.

We look forward to seeing you in 2013 - watch this space for opening dates and opening events.

Please direct any enquiries over the closure period to: 0845 345 7275.
