Learn to waltz!

Your weekend of classical music indulgence begins on Friday, August 14th, with a concert by the Jocelyn Freeman Piano Trio with Rhodri Taylor (clarinet) and Steffan Morris (cello).

They will play the Beethoven Piano Trio in B flat major, Op 11, and the Brahms Clarinet Trio Op 114.

The event starts at 8pm and tickets are just £10.

On the Saturday and Sunday you can hear some of the finest musicians from the LSO led by Tim Hugh. On the Saturday they will perform an evening of Viennese waltzes and other virtuoso performances.

There will also be dance lessons for those who find the music irresistible. And pre-dance suppers are available for his evening.

Featured musicians are Tim Hugh (Cello), Roman Simovic (violin), Sachs Zemtsov (Viola), Olga Sitkovetski (piano). Tickets are £12 (supper is extra).

On Sunday you can enjoy Proms: From Russia with Love, from 7.30pm, with Tim Hugh and fellow musicians from the LSO who will perform an evening of Russian repertoire. They will be joined by the Rachmaninoff Piano trio.

The evening will include Prokofiev’s Sonata for cello and piano and Shostakovich’s  8th quartet.

Tickets are £12.
