‘Inspired by Oswestry’
Art Workshop exploring interesting visual aspects of Oswestry through creating artworks with acrylic paints, line and layering washes.
Prepare for the workshop by taking photographs of things that you find interesting in the town… unusual architectural details, historical references, recent changes, things that seem ironic or funny etc… interesting observations from which we can create a visual narrative, documenting and expressing our individual perspectives.
We will be focussing more on visual details, rather than whole streets or buildings, so try to look out for these in your photographs. This will lend a more abstract feel to the collection of artworks produced.
Choose a few (2 or 3) images to print out at A4 and bring them with you to work from.
The workshop will run for 3 hours, 12.45 until 3.45 pm, with 15 minutes either side to set up and tidy up…. So feel free to arrive from 12.30 onwards and make yourself comfortable with a cup of Tea or coffee.
Refreshments are included and we will have a short break half way through.
Contact Emma K Eccles through messaging EKE Artworks Facebook page or website contact page with any questions or to book a place on the workshop.
