For the third year running, Oswestry jeweller Ken Kapal, of KMK Fine Jewellery, has created a unique £2,400 diamond pendant and has donated it to Hope House Children's Hospices to use as a charity raffle prize.

Oswestry Rotary Club recently held its first Charity Golf Day at Oswestry Golf Club. The main sponsor of the event was local law firm Lanyon Bowdler. All money raised will be split equally between the County Air Ambulance and Macmillan Nurses.
