The Oakwood approach is to choose the most effective care for your pet to promote their optimal health. Such care may combine conventional and complementary or alternative therapy such as homeopathy, acupuncture, herbalism and Reiki healing and alternative cancer therapies.

SPECIAL NURSE CLINICS
From time to time, Oakwood Vets in Oswestry have Nurse Clinics to handle specific issues for the health of your pet.
These may include Obesity Clinics to explore various Weight Control and Dietary Programmes when pets have become a little over-weight. This can be particularly important for smaller breeds.
Pet obesity can have a knock-on effect to your pet's health in areas such as diabetes, joint problems, arthritis, exercise intolerance and related heart issues. These Nurse Clinics provide you with the knowledge to bring your pet's weight back into good place.
PET DENTAL CARE
Pet Dentals Check-ups are provided free to all post-operative pets at this Oswestry vets. Oakwood have guidance on preventative dental care showing how best to brush your pet's teeth and manage gum health through diet.
RABBIT CARE
There are over 65 recognised breeds of rabbit and its one of the most popular animals in the UK. They also have specific needs for their health and well-being, namely, good companionship, good nutrition and space.
