INTRODUCING MILE END GOLF CLUB, OSWESTRY
Mile End Golf Club near Oswestry, Shropshire is a full 18 hole golf course set in 135 acres on the Shropshire border with Wales.
The course opened in 1992 as a 9 hole course the additional 9 holes were added in May 1996. Incorporating around 15,000 trees the careful design of the golf course has brought many compliments from golfers and spectators.
GOLF COURSE FEATURES
Features include the third and seventeenth greens which are protected by large pools, another challenge is the two tiered green of the longest hole on the course the par 5 fourteenth.
The mens course is 6,194 yards ( par 71)
The ladies course is 5,370 yards ( par 72)
Continous investment in the golf course includes a fully automated irrigation system to maintain the best possible greens for all golfers.
SHROPSHIRE'S ONLY 2-TIER DRIVING RANGE
Recently completed, this fabulous 16 Bay facility brings a superb practice environment to Oswestry. Challenge yourself on either tier to hit the various targets and flags.
Visitors are very welcome to enjoy the range and charges for baskets of balls and club hire are very reasonable. A great relaxing way to spend an hour or two.
THE CLUB HOUSE
The Club House offers a full bar and home made food is available from 8.00am - 4.00pm weekdays and 5.00pm weekends.
Full changing and showering facilities for men and ladies.
VISITING GOLF SOCIETIES
A range of packages are available for golf societies to include golf, driving range and meals or a package can be tailoured to suit your needs.
The golf Club has 18 hole greenfee rates or stay the whole day with the "Day Ticket" and use the clubs other facilities.
