Felt is the most ancient constructed textile in the world and has been used for everything from cosy winter garments to conceptual art.
This exhibition is an exploration of the edgier side of this extraordinary and versatile material, looking at artists who create sometimes disturbing and bizarre oddities and technically brilliant objects.
Mayor of Oldham and ROB Camra present the 27th Oldham Beer Festival at the Queen of Elizabeth Hall in the centre of Oldham adjacent to the bus station featuring over 65 Real Ales and Ciders and Perries together with foreign bottled beers. Open Friday and Saturday from 12 am through to 10.30 pm. Admission £3 both days except £5 after 5.30pm on Friday 1st May 2015. Discounts available for Camra/ OAPs/Students/Armed Forces with valid ID.
