With half-term holidays just around the corner, we are so excited about the exhibitions and activities the Museum has planned!

Children’s Activities

Activities run from 10:30am to 1pm, and 1:30pm to 4pm. No need to pre-book, activities are free but donations are welcomed, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Inspired by the Nuneaton Market Exhibition:

  • Thursday 28th May 2026 –         Make your own market stall.
  • Friday 29th May 2026 –              Make a draughts board game.

 

Tootles Tinies

This session is for pre-schoolers and their families (on the following Thursday between 10:45 and 11:45am)

  • Thursday 21st May 2026 -          Spring Flowers.
  • Listen to a story.
  • Sing a song.
  • Explore the Museum.

5 Things for Under 5s

  • Make musical sounds and sing some nursery rhymes.
  • Tell your own stories with our Noah’s Ark.
  • Colouring pictures.
  • Go on an imaginary journey in our wooden motor car.
  • Create your own puppet show.

 

Join us at the Museum to see a wide range of exhibitions, ranging from Monochrome Photography to a historical insight into the Nuneaton Markets. All are welcome to visit the Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery, especially families with children during the half-term holidays. Enjoy viewing the Museum and having fun with our activities designed to keep young children enthusiastic and entertained.

Permanent Galleries

The Picture Gallery -                 Highlights a range of paintings and sculptures from the Museum’s Collection.

Local History Gallery -              Nuneaton and Bedworth has been a place to live and work for over 1000 years. Now with new objects, this gallery brings to life its rich history through objects and stories.

The George Eliot Parlour-          Shows a reconstructed parlour used by George Eliot (a famous local novelist).
