Marco Pierre White, the youngest British chef ever to attain three Michelin stars, has devised a menu that is set to get the pulses racing on 14 February which will be available at his restaurant, The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill.

Located on Wollaton Street in the centre of Nottingham, those who want to make it a night to remember will be able to enjoy a sumptuous five-course meal set by the man dubbed as the original ‘enfant terrible’.

With its atmospheric décor, discreet lighting and art deco candle lamps one thing the restaurant boasts is ambiance, in abundance and makes for the perfect setting on the most romantic day of the year.

It means those looking to woo their loved one will be well on the way to a night of passion should they decide to take a table at the eaterie which has already become a firm favourite with the city’s foodies.

Rebecca Deaville, marketing manager said: “Valentine’s Day is all about having the perfect setting so that couples can enjoy each other’s company. It’s also about doing something a little bit special.

“The exquisite food, delicious cocktails and romantic atmosphere creates the idea setting for anyone looking for a perfect night out.”

On arrival couples will be able to sip on a delicious chilled glass of bubbly and once seated will be served a delicious Amuse of Tomato & Basil Soup, an ideal hors d'œuvre for a romantic meal for two.

Starters include a choice of Curried Halibut, Textures of Cauliflower, Red Wine Sorrel; Carpaccio of Beef, Apple, Horseradish & Rocket or Beetroot & Goats Cheese Salad with Walnut Dressing each of which are sure to get hearts racing.

For main, lovers will find it hard to deciding between Poach Roast Duck Breast, Confit Potato & Savoy Cabbage; Pan-Roast Monkfish, Parmentier Potatoes, Spinach & Bourguignon Garnish; 10 o/z Sirloin Steak Confit Tomato, Triple Cooked Chips with Bernaise Sauce or Crispy Herb Gnocchi, Olives, Capers & Sun-dried Tomato Salsa.

And no Valentine’s Day will be complete without the food of love and the Assiette of Chocolate to share is the perfect accompaniment.

The meal is complete with Cheese and Biscuits
