Sue Ryder Nettlebed Hospice, Henley on Thames

My girfriend Kate passed away yesterday(Tuesday 30th Oct 2014) having bravely fought cancer for just over a year. The care and attention she has recieved from everyone at Nettlebed has been incredible, nothing is too much trouble,no request unanswered, always there but never intrusive.I have always been made very welcome when I have been with Kate either on a short visit or during her longer stays( especially when accompianied by Birdie,Kates gorgeous black whippet who is always adored and fussed over by everyone she meets). I would like to say a special thankyou to those nurses who were present during Kates final hours, doing everything to make her as comfortable as possible and for Andrea,a very special person who spent time with me after Kates passing, listening as I talked about Kate and our time together. An incredibly traumatic and heartbreaking time made bearable by such a dedicated team of professionals.Heartfelt thanks to you all
