Have a fun family day out at Northumberland's Whitehouse Farm Centre tourist attraction!
Situated less than 4 miles south of Morpeth town centre, this 40 acre farm park has many facilities and attractions, including:
- Large animal fields and sheds (traditional, exotic, and rare)
- Indoor petting barn (cuddly, cute, slimy, and strange)
- Pig shed
- Goat mountain
- Play areas - with go-karts, pedal tractors, toboggan slide, indoor and outdoor adventure areas, sand pit etc.
- 200 seat café
Although great in the sunshine, three-quarters of the farm park is under cover, and so a fantastic trip is assured whatever the weather or time of year!
As a special treat and tourist attraction, there is a children's entertainer every Bank Holiday, and Santa and his elves in his farmland grotto in December.
Facilities for a complete day out are available, with café, indoor picnic area, toilets, and plentiful hand-washing areas.
School trips are also very welcome - the Farm Centre received CEVAS accreditation in 2006, recognising it as a safe and suitable attraction for school visits.
