If I am buying meat for a special occasion I always go out of my way to go to the Butchers of Excellence in Kirkhill. The staff are friendly and helpful and will give you advice about the best cuts to buy for a particular dish. The meat itself is succulent and tender - and tastes like meat used to taste!
