Northampton Concert Band return to Abington Avenue United Reformed Church for their Christmas Concert following a sell-out concert last year.
The Choir are delighted to present Cecilia McDowall's two Christmas cantatas, Christus natus est and A Winter's Night, with organ, brass and children's choir, alongside choral carols by John Gardner, Malcolm Tyler, the late Christopher Tambling, and Arthur Warrell, and audience carols arranged by the late Sir David Willcocks.
An evening of sparkling music from the award winning 50+ piece Northampton Concert Band conducted by Graham Tear. Please join us as we celebrate the festive season and fondly remember Harold Colman, for over 50 years our musical director and conductor. In Harold’s memory, we will be donating all profits from the concert to Abington Avenue United Reformed Church and Bethany Homestead.
