Our "Annual Charity Sponsored Walk" is an event allowing individuals or groups to generate sponsorship income for their own favourite charity, club, school, church etc by walking a route marshalled by the Rotary Club of Newbury. This year the walk takes place from The Victory Room, Bucklebury starting between 11 am and 12.30 pm with a choice of routes. This increasingly popular fun event is being held for the 6th consecutive year at Donnington Valley Golf Club on Thursday 12th May 2016, in aid of Parkinson's UK Newbury & District Branch and other selected Local Rotary Charities. It is open to teams of four as a full handicap Stableford competition with bacon bap & coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf, followed by a 2 course meal with charity raffle and prize presentation ceremony.
