Our charity
We provide support and services that make a real and positive difference to the wellbeing of local older people.
Each local Age UK is an independent charity, responsible for its own funding and the services it provides.
Every year we help over 14,000 people and their families in Milton Keynes and surrounding villages.
Working in partnership
We are a member of the Age England Association (which replaced the Age Concern Federation on 1st April 2011), which campaigns on behalf of older people nationally.
We also work in partnership with organisations such as Milton Keynes Council, Health and others in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to make sure that local services meet the needs of local older people.
Well-governed
We aim to be accountable for the funds we use, cost-effective in carrying out our role, professional in the way we work and transparent in all our activities.
All local Age UKs are affiliated to the Age UK Association, ensuring that they meet national quality standards of governance and service delivery.
