Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage will once again set pulses racing when it returns to Milton Keynes Theatre 21 Oct – 08 Nov.

The record breaking shows first ever UK tour wowed audiences across the country, and regular received 5 star reviews.

The Shows current Producer Karl Sydow said, “We are so pleased to be returning to Milton Keynes where the record-breaking first ever national tour wowed the public in May 2012.

The stage version was written by Eleanor Bergstein, who wrote the script and co-produced the extremely successful 1987 film, and the stage production features all the much-loved characters and original dialogue from the iconic film with exciting new scenes added in

The energetic dance sequences and new choreography come alive on stage, set to all the hits from the original soundtrack, including ‘Do You Love Me?’, ‘Hungry Eyes’ and the Academy Award Winning ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’, plus many additional songs, making the show a truly extraordinary live experience.

Spending the summer in a holiday camp with her family, Frances "Baby" Houseman falls in love with the camp's dance instructor Johnny Castle.

Gareth Bailey will star as Johnny Castle, one of the most iconic roles in popular culture originally played in the film by Patrick Swayze. Whilst Roseanna Frascona will be plying the part of Baby Houseman, originally played by Jennifer Grey.

Other top billed cast will be Claire Rogers who will play Penny Johnson,  James Coombes who plays Dr. Jake Houseman, Julia J. Nagle as Marjorie Houseman, Jessie-Lou Yates as Lisa Houseman, Colin Charles as Tito Suarez, Alexander Wolfe as Neil Kellerman, and Michael Remick as Max Kellerman,

The London show played for five triumphant years at the Aldwych Theatre, breaking all box office records with advance ticket sales of over £15 million, which made it the fastest ever selling West End show. Over five million people worldwide have now seen this sensational production.
