10th December 2014

Bradley Walsh Chases the laughs as he ditches his Law and Order raincoat in this fun filled Christmas family extravaganza.

The show kicks off with some audience participation as Bradley makes an unusual entrance, beware if you are sitting in the front row.

Dance Group Flawless are cast as the pirates and have plenty of opportunities to showcase their talents throughout the show, including a spectacular light show in the second half.

David Badella takes on the role of baddie Captain Hook with his deep theatrical voice, long dark wig, and costume is ideally cast as the villain. Although he was booed every time as tradition dictates, there was a real audience warmth towards him as he performed his scenes and songs.

Talented George Ure played his part as Peter Pan, and the young Scot ably supporting the bigger stars of the show.

Sky TV channel presenter Victoria Tyrrell played Wendy as if she was born for the part.

Francesca Mills who plays Tinker bell is brilliant, and uses her dislike of Wendy to raise some laughs.

Rebecca Lisewski as Tiger lily provides some wonderful vocals as do the Pirates and Mermaids throughout the show.

Shane Knight although you cannot see him plays Nana the dog (with the big head) and the Very impressive crocodile.

The rest of supporting  cast especially the darling boys are also all very good.

You can tell that Bradley has had his own input into the script, which makes it very natural when he plays up to the audience. The 12 days of Christmas routine was hilarious, and you felt tired for him at the end of it.

As is with Panto’s there was a mixture of current Pop tunes interlaces with some from further back including a Madness and a Frank Sinatra number with a twist.

The Music and Scenery and Costumes were as always what you might expect see in London’s West End, and all this is available here in Milton Keynes.

The show opened last Friday 5th December, it runs until Sunday, January 11, 2015, however tickets are selling fast,
