Volvo dealers are now taking orders for the New Volvo XC60, which is due out in October 2008. According to Volvo, it's the safest car that they've ever built. One example of this is the standard City Safety, that responds if the car is closing in on an obstacle. It helps avoid or reduce impact at low speeds. The car has a blindspot Information System, using advanced camera-based technology and sophisticated software to continuously chek yur blindspot, helping you, says Volvo, to concentrate more on driving.

The performance of the different models, as you would expect from Volvo, looks impressive, including All Wheel Drive. Another innivative feature is the personal car communicator, whcih actually tells you if there is an intruder in your car! Those keen to keep their Tax bill low will be delighted to learn that Diesel versions of Volvo's new XC60 4x4 will emit less than 200g/km of CO2. That's low enough to avoid the top bands for road tax and company car tax.
